A short month ago the Oklahoma Rage hit the field with a promising debut in a preseason scrimmage with the Wichita Wisdom. Displaying a well oiled machine that pick up exactly where they left off from the previous season the Rage had many of stand outs on both side of the ball. In discussion with Head Coach Brandon Webb, He has stressed the new additions to the team in their rookie season have made game time strides. Over the past month the Rage went back to work preparing for the Austin Outlaws season opener with plenty of excitement in the air!

It seems as it was just yesterday in the brutally cold month of January the Oklahoma Rage broke ground on the 2025 season. Since then many of hours have gone into piecing this Rage team together with familiar faces and new commers on the scene. Holding tryouts the Rage was able to snag fresh new talent to join the already loaded team. The coaching staff has grown with intensive experience on the gridiron that redesigns the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. It all comes to play this Saturday in Wichita, KS where the Rage will be scrimmaging the Wichita Wisdom.
Wichita, KS at 2:00pm is the set time for the event.
Often times the dawn of a new season brings the excitement like Christmas morning when you were a kid. That is exactly how how the Oklahoma Rage feels as training camp is on the horizon. This off-season there has been tremendous strides made with new additions to the coaching staff and players to the roster from try-outs. A new saying as been introduced ringing out "some new faces, but same expectations". Coach Webb in the off-season was able to wrangle up new faces to help boost skill to the Oklahoma Rage roster with some experience coaches hitting the gridiron.
First comes trench tested Coach Grant Schreppel from Bartlesville High School where he coaches Defensive Line. Mentored by Coach Webb in his career he will be fulfilling the Offensive Line role as Rock transitions to defensive coordinator for the upcoming season. Coach Schreppel also has gained playoff experience in recent years in Oklahoma brining valuable knowledge and skill to the Oklahoma rage.
Next on the list of fresh faces is the one and only Coach Jason Webb. Kin to Head Coach Brandon Webb, Jason looks to bring the Rages Wide Receiver Core to the next level. Coach J Webb comes to us from Owasso, Ok and has a football background to be able to grow this sport far and beyond!
Last but not least on the newcomer list is Coach Eddie Whitmore. First year in the coaching world Coach Whitmore will take on the role of Defensive Line where will make a huge impact and bring a new perspective to the game.
Weathered and returning to the gridiron this year is Coach Webb, Coach Graham, Coach Rock, and Coach Robbin. This group has been battle tested and know what it is going to take to get the final push to Ohio to hoist the trophy and put the Oklahoma Rage on the map for years to come.

Your Oklahoma Rage has officially set another tryout date coming up fast this October 19th. Last year the Oklahoma Rage made many first accomplishments throughout their season including hosting a first ever playoff game and making it to the second round to of the WFA Playoffs. Numbers helped increased this teams chances to grow stronger together to accomplish more things. This Off-season the team is looking to expand their numbers on the team and push for even higher goals and achievements.
